UKFRAS: Our fire risk assessments explained

Fire Risk Assessment

We work across the UK and undertake fire risk assessment for any type or number of business premises, small or large. Fire assessment is carried out by a qualified fire risk assessor, who will ensure that your property complies with the requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

We only provide fire safety risk assessment - not fire safety equipment, so you can rest assured that our fire assessment is an independent and reliable reflection of your fire safety requirements.

Our comprehensive approach to fire risk assessment means that our assessment:

  • Ensures compliancy with fire safety regulations
  • Reduces the risk of fires in your premises
  • Helps you to develop safeguards to protect staff and visitors
  • Reduces the risk of fire to your business assets
  • Ensures that in the unlikely event of a fire in your premises damage and danger are minimal

We provide all of our customers with a clear, easy to understand fire risk assessment report that satisfies regulatory requirements and prioritises our findings to allow you to deal with any problems, or potential problems, as quickly as possible. The report is supplied in electronic and printed formats, which can be used for both client reference and insurance purposes.

We aim to provide the report 2 days after the fire assessment, and prices start from as little as £145. We also offer telephone support for any fire risk or fire safety questions you may have in the twelve months following our assessment, for your further peace of mind.

UKFRAS Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Reports

The Fire Risk Assessment Process

To conduct the fire risk assessment, a fire risk assessor will visit your premises and undertake a comprehensive evaluation of all areas of the property looking at all areas of fire safety and risk in detail. This would include:

  • Property age & condition
  • Persons at risk
  • Potential fire safety hazards and risk, ignition sources & combustible materials
  • Fire prevention & management
  • Fire safety signage
  • Fire safety equipment & maintenance
  • Fire safety training & drills
  • Means of escape in the event of fire
  • Deficiencies in existing fire safety & risk precautions
  • An evaluation of your existing emergency fire procedures, training & drills

The Fire Safety Assessment Report

After the fire assessment we will provide you with a comprehensive written report that is insurance approved. The report comprises a detailed and documented fire risk assessment covering all aspects of fire risk and safety, and helps you to protect your business, employees and customers by providing prioritised recommendations for action to rectify problem areas and strengthen existing fire safety procedures to ensure that you comply with fire safety regulations.
